Today is the day that you marry your one true love! We have you covered (literally). Here in the Sunshine State it is not always sunny in the summertime.
It is rainy season and the weather can be unpredictable. Sometimes it will rain for five minutes then the sun will come back out and everything will be dry again in a few minutes. You never know though.
You certainly cannot predict what the weather will be like when you book your date so far in advance.
We have come up with a few tips to stay dry in case of rain.
If you are getting married outside or on the beach, let’s make sure to have a back up space just in case.

We can make the calls to make sure you have a back up plan so you do not have to worry about frantically calling around last minute.

Now the question you might have is how do I inform my guests?
There are plenty of ways. First off if you have a wedding website you can include the back up space and say the call will be made that day. Have a time the decision will be made so guests will know when they find out. Designate either a family member or a bridesmaid to be the contact person. Have them be in charge of contacting your guests so you do not have to worry about it while you are getting ready. Social Media is a good platform to inform guests as well.
Early on in your planning create an event on Facebook for your wedding and invite all of your guests to join. This is a great way for everyone to say connected and they can post any questions they might have. Double duty! Your Facebook event will not only help guests stay connected but also can keep track of who is coming and who is unable to make it.
Think about buying Event Insurance.
There are many different types of event insurance that covers anything from weather to vendors. Event insurance can be inexpensive and easy to purchase and will help cover you in case something happens. There are many online event insurance companies to choose from but you can also contact your insurance company to see if they offer event insurance.
Hire transportation for your guests.
The drivers will know where to go in case plans are changed. This is especially good for destination weddings in case your guests do not the area. Let your guests know when and where the shuttle, car or limo will leave. This way everyone will be on time and Uncle Bob won’t be driving around lost twenty minutes away from where he needs to be…

Why not have a bunch of cute colorful umbrellas to offer to your guests. Even if it does not rain the umbrellas can help offer some shade from the hot sun! You can even color coordinate the umbrellas to your wedding.
